Torna

Torna

Designer: Eduardo Trevisan

Torna is defined by its legs. Each one is turned on a lathe in solid Tauari with a slight twist, so the wood appears to rotate on itself. The movement is discreet from a distance and becomes clear up close.

The top comes in natural oak veneer or in painted glass, with a rounded-corner or a rectangular shape. Its tapered edges give it a light profile.

Available in five lengths, from 200 to 300 cm, Torna brings together a solid presence and a fluid line.

Tauari, also known as Brazilian Oak, is comparable to North American Red Oak, but 13% harder. Its colours range from off-white to medium brown, with a medium graining pattern and low luster. Tauari wood provides the highly sought after "wheat" colour associated with domestic oak. In addition to being visually appealing, this hardwood is also resistant to decay, insects, and other impacts, ensuring long lasting use of your Tauari wood product.
