Sabiá
Rooted in rhythm and refinement, Sabiá is a table that sings with quiet confidence. Its name—drawn from the native Brazilian songbird—evokes the balance of delicacy and structure, nature and design. Every line of Sabiá reflects the subtle strength and lyrical elegance that defined Brazil’s golden age of modernism.
The tabletop, crafted from American Oak standard veneer with precise marquetry, radiates warmth and texture. A refined 3.1 cm beveled edge lends the surface a sense of sculptural lightness, while honoring the wood’s natural integrity. Each grain pattern is intentional, forming a quiet visual rhythm that echoes the bird's melodic namesake.
Supporting the top is a bold, architectural base made from American Oak multi-laminated panels. With softly curved planes and carefully calibrated proportions, the base grounds Sabiá with modernist clarity—an homage to the clean, honest geometries championed by designers like Jorge Zalszupin and Oscar Niemeyer.
Sabiá is more than a functional piece—it’s a sculptural centerpiece that lives gracefully in both open, airy interiors and richly layered spaces. A table where craft meets composition, and where every detail is a note in a larger, harmonious design.
