Sora

Sora

Inspired by the expressive geometry and tactile richness of mid-century Brazilian modernism, the Sora coffee table reinterprets classic design language through a distinctive triangular silhouette. Where its sister, Lina, embraces the circle, Sora explores form through a softer triangle, organic in contour, subtly asymmetrical, and undeniably sculptural.

The natural stone top, gently tapering to rounded points, adds quiet drama. Its matte finish and delicate veining capture the material’s innate beauty while allowing the form to speak with quiet confidence. Below, three solid wood legs rise with grace, meeting the stone in seamless union. Their softly faceted curves echo the top’s triangular rhythm, grounding the table with warmth and intentionality.

Meticulously crafted, each leg showcases the hand-finished integrity of Brazilian woodworking, celebrating natural material and precise joinery without ornament. The proportions, slightly unexpected yet balanced, nod to the experimental spirit of mid-century designers who blended elegance with bold experimentation.

Sora embodies a tension between solidity and flow, simplicity and complexity. The interplay of stone and wood, cool and warm, heavy and light, creates a table that is as much a sculptural statement as it is a functional surface.

Equally at home in a pared-down interior or amid layered textures and eclectic forms, Sora brings an air of quiet confidence and design fluency. It’s not just a coffee table, it’s a celebration of form, craftsmanship, and the enduring beauty of well-considered restraint.
