This console table is a striking embodiment of Brazilian midcentury modern design, where elegance meets functionality in a sculptural form. Defined by clean lines and a fluid silhouette, it features a beautifully curved drawer subtly integrated beneath the tabletop—an organic touch that echoes the work of iconic Brazilian designers from the 1950s and 60s.
The table’s frame, crafted from richly finished hardwood, offers both durability and visual warmth. Its elongated proportions and open structure create a sense of airiness, while the lower shelf provides ample space for display or storage. The gently rounded edges and thoughtful detailing speak to a tradition of craftsmanship rooted in Brazil’s design legacy, where modernist principles were reinterpreted with natural materials and artisanal finesse.
Ideal for entryways, living rooms, or minimalist interiors, this piece serves as both a functional surface and a sculptural focal point—bringing a refined, timeless aesthetic to any space.

Structure in Tauari
Multiples options of veneer availableTauari, also known as Brazilian Oak, is comparable to North American Red Oak, but 13% harder. Its colours range from off-white to medium brown, with a medium graining pattern and low luster. Tauari wood provides the highly sought after "wheat" colour associated with domestic oak. In addition to being visually appealing, this hardwood is also resistant to decay, insects, and other impacts, ensuring long lasting use of your Tauari wood product.
