Designer: Theo Egami

A timeless reflection of Brazilian midcentury modern design, this bar cart captures the spirit of the era with a perfect balance of form and function. Its design draws from the legacy of Brazil’s design trailblazers, where craftsmanship, natural materials, and clean geometry intersect with effortless sophistication.

Constructed from richly toned solid wood, the frame highlights the warmth and depth of its natural grain, offering a tactile connection to the organic beauty central to the midcentury ethos. Slim metal accents, subtly finished in brushed brass, add a modern gleam without interrupting the cart’s sculptural integrity. The interplay of wood and metal creates a visual rhythm that is both grounded and refined.

Two open tiers provide generous surface area for both storage and display — the top ideal for mixing and serving, the lower shelf offering ample space for bottles, barware, or carefully chosen accessories. Quietly integrated wheels ensure smooth mobility, allowing the cart to move gracefully from room to room as needed.

With its understated elegance and thoughtful construction, this bar cart serves as both a functional piece and a design statement. It brings a sense of ease, warmth, and architectural clarity to any interior, honoring its roots while embracing the present.

Tauari, also known as Brazilian Oak, is comparable to North American Red Oak, but 13% harder. Its colours range from off-white to medium brown, with a medium graining pattern and low luster. Tauari wood provides the highly sought after "wheat" colour associated with domestic oak. In addition to being visually appealing, this hardwood is also resistant to decay, insects, and other impacts, ensuring long lasting use of your Tauari wood product.
