Designer: Eduardo Trevisan

This chair is a striking expression of midcentury modern Brazilian design, where clean lines and organic warmth converge in perfect balance. Inspired by the refined aesthetics of the 1950s and 60s, it features a sculptural wooden frame in a rich, warm finish, paired with a generously upholstered seat and curved backrest that invite comfort and style.

The elegance lies in its quiet details—subtle curves, precise joinery, and a floating seat design that evokes a sense of lightness. Drawing from Brazil’s celebrated design tradition, it blends European modernist principles with local craftsmanship and material richness, resulting in a timeless silhouette that is both sophisticated and grounded.

Perfect as a dining chair, desk companion, or occasional seat, this piece elevates any space with its understated beauty and thoughtful construction. More than a functional object, it is a tribute to the enduring legacy of Brazilian modernism.

    Wood Tauari

Tauari, also known as Brazilian Oak, is comparable to North American Red Oak, but 13% harder. Its colours range from off-white to medium brown, with a medium graining pattern and low luster. Tauari wood provides the highly sought after "wheat" colour associated with domestic oak. In addition to being visually appealing, this hardwood is also resistant to decay, insects, and other impacts, ensuring long lasting use of your Tauari wood product.
