Designer: Theo Egami
A refined expression of Brazilian midcentury modern design, this bench unites sculptural elegance with everyday functionality. Its form draws inspiration from the iconic works of Brazil’s design masters, where organic materials, gentle curves, and architectural clarity coexist in perfect harmony.
Expertly crafted from richly grained hardwood, the frame highlights the material's natural warmth and tactile beauty. Slender brass accents introduce a quiet sophistication, reflecting light with restraint. Every joint and surface reveals a commitment to traditional craftsmanship, while the clean, minimalist silhouette speaks to a contemporary sensibility.
The subtly concave seat offers comfort without excess, supported by elegantly tapered legs that convey both lightness and strength. Whether placed in an entryway, living space, or at the foot of a bed, it provides both a resting place and a sculptural presence.
Balancing artistry and utility, this piece brings timeless character to any interior—classic or modern—offering a serene blend of form, function, and enduring Brazilian design.

Structure in Tauari
Multiples options of veneer availableTauari, also known as Brazilian Oak, is comparable to North American Red Oak, but 13% harder. Its colours range from off-white to medium brown, with a medium graining pattern and low luster. Tauari wood provides the highly sought after "wheat" colour associated with domestic oak. In addition to being visually appealing, this hardwood is also resistant to decay, insects, and other impacts, ensuring long lasting use of your Tauari wood product.
