Designer: Eduardo Trevisan
This armchair embodies the spirit of midcentury modern Brazilian design—an elegant harmony of form, material, and function. With its sculpted wooden frame and enveloping silhouette, it draws from the sleek sophistication of the 1950s and 60s while celebrating the artisanal roots of Brazil’s design heritage.
The warm-toned wood structure is gracefully complemented by upholstered cushions on the seat and curved backrest, offering both visual depth and inviting comfort. Thoughtfully integrated armrests flow seamlessly into the frame, adding a sense of continuity and poise. Every detail—from the gentle arcs to the clean, expressive joinery—reflects the craftsmanship and innovation at the heart of Brazilian modernism.
Ideal for lounge areas, reading nooks, or refined workspaces, this armchair brings sculptural elegance and ergonomic support into harmony. More than a seat, it is a testament to the artistry and cultural richness of Brazil’s midcentury legacy.

Materials
Wood Tauari
Tauari, also known as Brazilian Oak, is comparable to North American Red Oak, but 13% harder. Its colours range from off-white to medium brown, with a medium graining pattern and low luster. Tauari wood provides the highly sought after "wheat" colour associated with domestic oak. In addition to being visually appealing, this hardwood is also resistant to decay, insects, and other impacts, ensuring long lasting use of your Tauari wood product.
