Mohave
Rooted in the refined tradition of Brazilian design, the Mohave armchair strikes a perfect balance between sculptural elegance and everyday comfort. Its enveloping silhouette is defined by smooth, continuous curves that flow effortlessly from backrest to armrest, creating a cocoon-like embrace that invites relaxation.
Crafted by skilled artisans in Brazil, the Mohave’s frame is made from sustainably sourced hardwood, its tapered legs adding a touch of mid-century charm while providing strength and durability. The upholstery, a rich terracotta-toned velvet, evokes the warmth of Brazil’s natural landscapes—both grounding and striking in its visual impact.
Compact yet commanding, the Mohave is ideal for intimate living spaces, stylish reading corners, or modern hospitality settings. Every detail—from the seamless stitching to the precisely contoured seat—reflects a commitment to craftsmanship, comfort, and Brazilian artistry.
More than just a chair, the Mohave is a celebration of organic form, thoughtful design, and timeless sophistication.
Materials
Wood Tauari
Tauari, also known as Brazilian Oak, is comparable to North American Red Oak, but 13% harder. Its colours range from off-white to medium brown, with a medium graining pattern and low luster. Tauari wood provides the highly sought after "wheat" colour associated with domestic oak. In addition to being visually appealing, this hardwood is also resistant to decay, insects, and other impacts, ensuring long lasting use of your Tauari wood product.
